We added a print on demand capability on Architexturez over the weekend.
This is for people who want to produce a small quantity of books
(minimum 10 volumes) under Architexturez IMPRINTS and ISBN. This
overcomes the large print run requirements for most published books
(which is a deterrent in India), and costs, as Architexturez IMPRINTS
will be printed only after an order is received.
Publications are subject to a double-blind review in addition to the
normal editorial decisions at Architexturez. Imprints will undergo a
public review process through
http://portal.architexturez.org before
publication. Contact the research administrators through the portal for
more information.
Architexturez IMPRINTS are sold at-cost, our inventory is priced at
about 50% less, for example, than books sold through standard
publication channels. So this is not a for-profit venture. However, it
is not a philanthropic 'low price, low quality' edition either.
