FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT EXHIBITION Villa Palagione, Volterra, Toscana, Italia
from September 29th to October 28th 2007 The AMICI DI FRANK LLOYD
WRIGHT Association, at Volterra, Villa Palagione - Intercultural Centre,
on the 140th anniversary of the great American architect announces the
exhibition Frank Lloyd Wright the modern architecture precursor The
2007 exhibition will take place in Volterra, a 3000 years historical
town, organised by “Amici di Frank Lloyd Wright” in collaboration with“
Villa Palagione - Centro Interculturale”. Images, films, drawings,
models and constructions will document the life and work of Frank Lloyd
Wright, designer and prophet, in the most appropriate way for a large
public. Other Organic Architecture exponents will be presented to show
Wright's message continuity in various personal and original ways,
keeping the Great Master's language innovatory and revolutionary power.
AMICI DI FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT Association seats in the ancient
Palagione Villa, International Culture and Studies Centre, located near
Volterra, Etruscan town in the heart of Tuscany.
The exhibition will take place in the Villa and the surroundings from
September 29th to October 28th 2007. It will be divided in four
sections: the Prairie Houses, the Usonian Houses evolution, the
Masterpieces, the Organic Architecture continuity. The last section will
show works of Frank Lloyd Wright , Eric Lloyd Wright, John Lautner,
Bruce Goff, Aaron Green, Don Erickson, Arthur Dyson, Ken Kellogg, Helena
Arahuete and others. We have the pleasure to announce the presence of
Eric Lloyd Wright, Arthur Dyson, Carol Bishop at the conferences that
will take place on October 13th and 14th 2007 at the Cassa di Risparmio
di Volterra Studies Centre. The United States of America Consul General
offered his sponsorship and will attend the opening.
