Three months after he resigned from as director (projects and planning)
of Delhi Metro, C B K Rao is leading the first ever private Metro
project in the country. The 3.2-km stretch will be built in DLF cyber
city in Gurgaon. Rao says the planning part is over and they are ready
to hit the project part after the go-ahead from the Haryana government.
The project, he says, is waiting for “in-principle approval” from the
state government, for it is to be built on public land.
