Prof Kiran Joshi, an architect associated with the UT tourism department, countered Sharma’s allegations. She questioned Sharma’s association with French architect Le Corbusier.

She claimed, “Extensive research on Courbusier has revealed that A R Prabhawalker, Jeet Malhotra, U E Choudhary and N S Lamba were the key officials involved in the projects with Corbusier. M N Sharma was posted at the Patiala office of the Punjab Architecture Department.”
