cons: ,,Architecture students hold fort (!)

MMRDA will enlist their help in surveying monuments and drafting plans 
for conservation

MUMBAI: Students of architecture in the city now have the chance to 
restore the lost glory of some of the forts in Mumbai metropolitan 
region. The civic administration has decided to enlist the help of 
students of heritage architecture from reputed colleges and firms in 
restoration and conservation of city’s monuments that are in ruins.

To begin with, students will undertake a survey of the forts at Sion and 
Mahim, and Mahakali caves in Andheri (East). Other forts like Sewree, 
Vasai and Belapur will be surveyed next.
