LAHORE: Despite the millions of rupees spent on the interior design,
renovation and construction of houses and buildings in the city’s
affluent localities, their buildings contain architectural flaws,
experts and the citizens believe. These localities include Defence
Housing Authority (DHA), Model Town Society (MTS), Gulberg, and Cantt
All these areas have a proper planning system and the authorities
approve all maps, but residents do not seem to be happy with private
contractors or architects. The houses containing basements are affected
by sewerage problems in the rainy season.
