PM urged to include Gwalior in Urban Renewal Mission
Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh
Chouhan has urged Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to
include Gwalior in the Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban
Renewal Mission to ensure the city's planned
development.
Four cities- Jabalpur, Ujjain, Indore and Bhopal- had
already been included in the Mission and the
development proposals would be submitted to the
Government of India by this month end. Mr Chouhan had
sent a letter to the Prime Minister urging him to
include Gwalior in the mission, official sources said
today.
The department of Urban Administration and Development
has been made the state-level nodal agency for
implementation of the Mission...
