Delhi Master Plan -- 2021 to be finalized within two months: B L Joshi
New Delhi: The Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, B L Joshi, said on Thursday
that the Master Plan for Delhi-2021 would be finalised over the next two
months.
Addressing the gathering at this year's Republic Day celebrations, Joshi
said the draft of the Master Plan, which was being prepared keeping in mind
a population of 2.3 crores in Delhi in 2021, was notified through a gazette
notification following which about 7,000 objections or suggestions to it
were received.
These suggestions are now being considered by a Board of Enquiry before
finalizing the plan, he said, adding that the Delhi Development Authority
(DDA) has observed transparency in land development and disposal and action
taken in case rules were disobeyed in land allotments.
