Pune, February 11: LEAVING Municipal Commissioner Nitin Kareer in a lurch,
Congress leaders on Saturday decided to back the Standing Committee decision
of implementing the tax structure of 2004-05. This, despite Kareer’s warning
that if the tax structure was not reconsidered, the civic body would lose
the Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM).
