It was alleged that during the past one decade about Rs 200 crore money was paid by the authorities as compensation to farmers and land mafia for acquiring the so-called agricultural lands where over 1,700 housing colonies have already come into existence.
According to the petition about 15 lakh individuals and societies who purchased the agricultural plots in good faith were now put to loss as the MCD had taken up the demolition drive of unauthorised structures in the capital and its peripheries.
