Lal Dora panel criticises Central notification on Delhi master plan
New Delhi, Sept 12: The recent Central notification on Delhi master plan
came in for criticism at a meeting of the Lal Dora committee on Tuesday,
with the elected representatives who are members of the panel expressing
concern over non-inclusion of rural villages in the amendments.

Shops and trades being carried out by residents of rural villages at their
houses within Lal Dora should be allowed as it is, said MCD standing
committee chairman Jai Kishan Sharma, who is a member of the committee set
up by the Ministry of Urban Development.

Former Home Secretary P P Srivastva, divisional commissioner Narender Kumar
and chief town planner of MCD V K Bugga were also present at the meeting.
