Metro project: special purpose vehicle comes into existence

Shortlisted consortia will have to submit their final technical bids by July 13, which in turn will be vetted by the HMR technical consultants - Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) and owner's consultant of Span-Semaly for an objective selection.

DMRC chief E. Sridharan is said to have visited the city earlier this month for a detailed review of the project and promised to give at least 10 technical officers on deputation to HMR in phases.
