SC to examine permission for 3rd floors of old constructions

A bench of Justices Arijit Pasayat and D K Jain said that it would take up the issue on Monday when the apex court would review the effects of the Urban Development Ministry's controversial Master Plan for Delhi (MPD) 2021, notified on February 7, this year. 
The issue was raised in the form of a mention by senior counsel Arun Jaitely, on behalf of one Shakuntala Sachthey and her family, who complained that they were being prevented from raising an additional floor under the cloak of an apex court order.
