Last para in report about GNCT cabinet speaks of 20%
quota, not 25% lease condition in pursuit of a
holistic CSS (like the news report about MCD in the
previous post).

The Hindu, 18.05.04: Cabinet reshuffle in the offing
[last para]
the Education Minister, Arvinder Singh Lovely, has
come in for praise for having handled his department
and the issue of 20 per cent quota for weaker sections
in public schools very well. He could find himself
being rewarded with some additional portfolios in the
coming days.
Incidentally, in its counter-affidavit in the MPISG
matters seeking enforcement of CSS provisions of Delhi
Master Plan MCD has claimed it has no role to play in
the petitions and GNCT has described in detail the
arbitrary and discretionary piece-meal processes by
which it minds school education in Delhi, now being
expanded to claim credit for 20% dole, curiously in
name of integration, even as numbers they churn out do
not can not add up to even this odd 20%, forget
what the lawful 25% was intended for.
